It was a pretty dreary day for the most part - overcast and cold all the way from Centralia to Canyonville. It's a good thing there was no precipitation because it would have been snow for sure.

We arrived at the Seven Feathers Casino RV Park at 4:00pm. This park is absolutely top-notch - among the best site we have stayed at so far. Beautifully landscaped grounds and large rv sites with full-service hook-ups, cable tv and wifi. They also have a very nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub.

Just as we were setting up, Paul and Marleen pulled in with 2 more RV's following them. They had stayed the previous night in Marysville, WA with 2 other couples from Duncan, B.C.(Gary, Sandy, Dave & Loretta)- so, we all ended up with sites pretty much together.

The casino seemed like a good bet for dinner so everyone headed over there about 6:00pm. Paulette and I had the special - a 10oz. rib-eye steak dinner for $7.95 - what a deal!! There was also a buffet which we skipped. After dinner, we spent about an hour in the casino before losing our $20 limit - we were back home by 8:30pm, took Mo and Molly for a walk and then just watched tv for the rest of the evening.
The weather forecast looks good for tomorrow morning's drive over the Siskiyou Pass into Calfornia. It is supposed to be sunny with no chance of precipitation. Let's hope their right! This is the only part of the trip that appeared to be of any conern as far as driving goes, but, it looks like we may have hit it just right. It will be nice to get into California and, hopefully, some nice warm weather for a change.
