Swimming in an outdoor pool in January - that's a first! Paulette went for a swim in the pool here this afternoon and said it was just great. It was hot and sunny here all day - not a cloud in the sky. Paulette said the water temperature in the pool was 84F so it was just perfect. There were a few others in the pool as well as it was a near perfect day.

This morning, Paulette went to a Bead Shop in Lake Havasu City for a 3 hour workshop on making bracelets. When I picked her up at 1:00pm, she was about 90% finished the bracelet she was working on. I was really surprised to see there were about 20 other women in the shop all working on bead projects. This bead store apparently runs this workshop every day for free as long as you buy the beads there. Paulette is going to go back on Thursday morning to learn how to 'wire-wrap' stones for necklaces etc. She would definitley go back tomorrow except we're off to Quartzsite again to take in the Craft, Gem and Bead Show - that should be huge.

As for me, I just hung around the RV park with Mo and Molly. I spent most of the time sitting outside in a lawn chair reading and just enjoying the sunshine. It sure is nice after a couple of mediocre days. Even the mediocre days were o.k. as we only got a bit of rain in the morning and sun came out around noon. Everyone here expects sunshine from dawn to dusk so what they call a mediocre day seems pretty good to us.

Tonight, we are going to barbeque hamburgers, take Mo and Molly for a walk and then probably just watch TV or a movie tonight.
