We went back to Quartzsite today to have another look around and to check out a few of the smaller shows near the main site. When we left, it was actually raining a bit, but by the time we got near Quartzsite, the rain had stopped and the skies had cleared.

Paulette and I checked out the 'main tent' RV show where I ended up buying a few small items. After that, we drove over to a show across the highway called the "Pow-Wow" - it featured dozens and dozens of vendors selling beads, gems and rocks etc. Paulette loved this place and filled up a plastic bag full of beads - all great deals.

When we were leaving we happened to run into Gary, Sandy, Dave and Loretta. We hadn't seen them since we parted ways with the 'caravan' last Saturday. They are staying with Paul and Marleen at a dry-camping site about 3km's from Quartzsite. Paul and Marleen were off somewhere else so we didn't see them.

That was it for today - we drove back to the RV park, put out the lawn chairs and sat in sun and read for a few hours. Life is tough!

Tomorrow we're going to drive up to Bullhead City and Lauglin, NV - it's just an hour away from Lake Havasu. I know Laughlin is a huge gambling centre but I'm not sure what Bullhead City is about. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
