Almost, as he calls himself, has been impersonating Willie Nelson for about 20 years now - with the real Willie's full blessing! He travels around Texas and the southwest putting on his show mostly at KOA campgrounds as well as RV rallys, shows and other events. He travels around in a big bus much like the one you always see other country performers touring in.

Almost was pretty good. He started his show at 7:00pm and performed until about 8:15pm - just for the cost of a donation. He sang all the old Willie Nelson favourites as well as telling a lot of 'good ole boy' stories and jokes. His companion, Miss Kitty, was nice enough but she might have wanted to keep watching instead of trying to sing a couple of duets.

All in all, it was a great evening and a nice change of pace from sitting around watching reruns of 'Law and Order' and 'CSI' which seems to be the only thing regularly on tv right now. Come to think of it, those were the only shows on tv when we left home a month ago. That's right - we've been on the road 4 weeks already! It doesn't seem possible as the time has gone by so fast.
Paulette gave Mo and Molly a bath this afternoon using our 'outdoor shower' unit. They both seemed to enjoy getting cooled off and to get rid of the dust and dirt they have accumulated from walking around the various campgrounds.

After dinner tonight, we're going to go and check out the Target store located not too far from us. There's a Costco across the street too. Paulette is looking forward to this as we haven't been to a Target store yet this trip.
Tomorrow, we'll be packing things up and getting ready for our short drive to Palm Springs on Saturday morning. It's only about 4-5 hours from here so it'll be an easy trip.
