Desert Hot Springs

Our breakfast at Arkansas' Tom and Donna's Wednesday morning was as good as advertised. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and the specialty of the house - "biscuits and gravy"! It was absolutely terrific. Tom gave us the instructions on how to prepare the gravy, so when we get home we'll have to give it a try.

By the way, with two Tom and Donna's it's getting pretty confusing around here - so I've come up with an easier name for them - T1D1 & T2D2(Arkansas), and together, just T's & D's.

After the big breakfast, Paulette and D2 left for a day of shopping at the Outlet Mall a few miles down the road. That was the last I saw of them until about 5:00pm! Paulette said the Outlet Mall was just huge - over 130 stores including a lot of very expensive type designer businesses! She said it was a lot of fun and she really enjoyed looking at a lot of the stores we never see at home.

This morning we were busy taking care of some normal type chores - laundry, emptying the holding tanks and doing general housework and cleaning up around here. The T's and D's left for another day of shopping to the Camping World store down in Riverside about an hour away.

This afternoon, Paulette and I took Mo and Molly and went for a drive around the city of Palm Springs. We saw some pretty high-end homes, but we had no idea if they were owned by any famous people or not. We decided we are going to take one of the celebrity bus tours next week to get a better idea of the history of Palm Springs as well as having a look at some of the residences of a few celebrities.

We don't have any great plans for the weekend, we are just going to take it a day at a time and see what happens.
