Gem & Bead Show - Day 4

Paulette's resolve not to go back to the Bead & Gem Shows again for fear of buying an entire 'tent' lasted until 10:15am. However, she did limit her time there to about two and half hours - but, says she managed to get some pretty good deals in that time. It turns out that Paulette has been shopping in a "wholesale only" location for the past two days without anyone asking her for a business verification.

It's no wonder she was so blown away by the deals she was getting yesterday. Anyway, trying to get back into one of the tents on-site today, Paulette was asked for I.D. and the jig was up. She says she was finished anyway and was only going in to take a few more pics.

We had fresh-squeezed lemonade today - it was sure good. Paulette found a lemon tree just loaded with lemons and picked about a dozen. Somehow, we had both missed this tree in our walks around our site. She also found an orange tree and picked about a half-dozen to add to the oranges we still have from Bakersfield, CA.

Today has been the hottest day of our trip so far. The temperature here in Tucson is in the mid-70's and not a cloud in sight - again. Paulette and I left Mo and Molly in the fifth-wheel and walked over to the Beaudry RV "Western Barbeque". It's the same one I went to the other day and is on throughout the weekend. The menu today was barbequed chicken, baked beans, macaroni salad as well as lemonade and carrot cake. Again, everything was free - can't beat that. The place was packed as usual. We took a look at some of the fifth-wheeels and motorhomes on display - they are pretty nice!

This afternoon, we started to get ready to leave for Apache Junction. Paulette did a few loads of laundry while I took care of the holding tanks. With that all done, it was time to take it easy in the sun for a few hours.

So, tomorrow it's goodbye to Beaudry RV Resort and hello to Canyon Vista RV Park.
