Seven Feathers RV Resort

We made it to some sunshine and warmer weather today. When we arrived at the Seven Feathers RV Resort in Canyonville, Oregon this afternoon about 3:00pm, the sun was out and the temperature was a balmy 16C. It's a very welcome change from the snow and cold weather we've had at home recently.

It wasn't like that this morning when we left the Midway RV Park in Centrailia:

From Heading South
It rained heavily leaving Centrailia and it continued right through until we reached Portland, OR., then the skies gradually cleared and we were into better weather at last. We had a very easy drive from Portland to Canyonville as there wasn't any where near the amount of traffic we encountered yesterday.

Seven Feathers RV Resort is just as nice as we remembered it from last year. It is an absolutely first class resort - clean as a whistle, nicely landscaped and all the amenities one could ask for in an RV Park.

We opted to stay in our 5th wheel for dinner tonight, with Mo and Molly, instead of going over to the casino for the buffet.

Tomorrow night might be different though as we are going to be staying at Rolling Hills Casino RV Park where, last year, we went to what we considered to be the "world's best" buffet. We'll definitely be checking that out to see if it's still just as good!Tomorrow will be a nice short drive - just four hours to Rolling Hills and our first night in California! The weather over the Siskiyou Summit is forecast to be clear and too warm for snow - let's hope that's true. It's very similar to driving over the Coquahalla Hwy. though it doesn't have as many steep grades.Hopefully, California will be the beginning of weather that is sunny and warm!
