Paulette is still finding lots of time to work on her beads and quilting. Here is a picture of a Blue & Brown Fresh Water Pearl Necklace she has finished:

She’s also been doing quite a bit of quilting, and in fact, is going to be teaching a class here this Wednesday at the quilting group on how to make "handsewn hexagon flowers" which will then be appliqued to a quilt. Once a teacher, always a teacher I guess. It takes about 30-35 of these 'flowers' for a quilt so it is quite a time consuming process.

By about 8:00pm each night, Mo and Molly are plain worn out from all the walks, and in general, just being outside so much. They can't wait for us to go to bed so they can get some sleep. There's always something going on here during the day so they don't get anywhere near as much nap-time as they do at home.

Tom and Donna have rented a car for the week so that they can show Diana around Palm Springs a bit. On Saturday, they spent the morning at the Premium Outlet Mall just down the highway and, on Monday, they are going to take the Palm Springs Tramway up to the top of the San Jacinto Peak from which you get a really spectacular view of the whole Coachella Valley. Then on Tuesday, they are driving down to Disneyland for the day - it's only about 2 hours away. That should then give Diana a few days to lie around the pool before flying home on Friday morning.
The weather forecast for the coming week is very good(what's new?) so, it looks to be another quiet week around here enjoying the sunshine and the pool!
