In addition to shopping, Paulette and Sandy have both been busy at the weekly 'craft' club here at the clubhouse. They have managed to get a few others involved in working with beads as well as quilting.

Paul and Marleen left for home on Monday morning after spending the weekend here. They sure hit the weather perfect - it was 30C, sunny with absolutely no wind at all for the whole time they were here. They planned to stop in Vancouver for a few days before heading home to Duncan on the weekend.
It seems that for the last week or so, we've been mostly occupied with going to barbeques and other activities here in the RV Park. On Sunday night, we had a terrific salmon barbeque over at Gary and Sandys, then on Tuesday night we were all invited over to Tom, Donna, Roy and Diana's for barbequed chicken which was really great as well.
So, barbeque wise, we've pretty much covered the spectrum in the last week - steak, chicken, ribs, salmon and some pretty fabulous deserts. No dieting going on down here - lots of time for that when we get home!!
We've still got company here in the park given that Tom and Donna, as well as Roy and Diana, are here for another 10 days or so. Tom will have to find a new golf partner as he and Gary spent a lot of time over the past couple of weeks playing here at the Sands as well as a couple of other local courses near here.
Even though Sandy's leaving tomorrow, Paulette is not going to be sitting around for long. In fact, tomorrow morning she is off sharp at 8:30am with a bunch of others from the quilting club to head down the freeway to visit quilting stores in some of the nearby towns and cities. That looks to be an all day event.
So, it looks like I'll just have to hang around here with Mo and Molly enjoying the sunshine and taking it easy - suits me just fine!
