Paulette, Mo, Molly and me just got back from a walk around the RV Park - it's a beautiful, hot, sunny Sunday morning. Days like this make us want to stay here for a few more months - maybe we will! It was so nice, I decided to take, and share, a few pics of one of the walks we always take around here.
This is the duck pond - the dog run and park is situated right behind the pond.

This street is fairly typical of all the streets here in the RV Park with a mixture of RV's and Park Model homes.

Grass boulevards and Palm trees line the main street in the park giving it a real tropical look and feel. The boulevards seem to be Mo and Molly's favourite part of the park.

On Friday, Paulette and six other ladies from here in the park went on a quilting "Shop Hop" visiting a total of eight quilting stores including a few as far as an hour away on the I-10 freeway. I'm told the shopping was "FANTASTIC" - it must have been, because they left at 8:30am and didn't get back until 6:00pm. Each store was expecting them so they got a free gift at each stop.
Paulette and I spent almost the full day yesterday at the swimming pool - after going to a few garage sales in the morning, of course. Saturday was perfect all day - sunny, hot and absolutely no wind at all. Looks to be more of the same for the coming week, too.
Last night, we were invited over to Tom and Donna's for "Banana Date Milkshakes". Date Shakes are a real big thing here in Palm Springs as the area is the largest producer of dates in the entire world. These were the first 'date shakes' that Donna, and her sister Diana, had made and Paulette and I gave them an A+ - very, very, good.

It's just about noon here now, so I think we'll have lunch and then head down to the pool for a swim and an afternoon of lounging around outside reading - life is tough!
