A Real Scorcher Here Today!!

It was a real scorcher today – 36C! This morning, when I took Mo to the Vet for his IV at 8:00am, it was already 23C. Luckily, it really cools down nicely at night with temperatures usually in the 13C-15C range, so it’s great for sleeping and we haven’t had to put our A/C on at all.

Mo seems to be doing o.k. He still has 3 more IV’s to go before he gets more blood work to see if his kidney function has improved. They sure like him at the Vet’s office as he is very calm and does whatever they want him to do – they think Mo is just perfect!

Paulette spent the morning at her quilting club – in an air-conditioned hall so that was lucky for her. As soon as she got back, I headed down to the swimming pool for a while just to cool off a bit. The pool was pretty busy today as everybody had the same idea. Paulette took a turn going for a swim as soon as I got back.

The nice thing about our RV site is that we get the sun all morning; and, in the afternoon we can sit in the shade of the 5th wheel so it’s just perfect. The afternoon is just too hot to sit in the direct sun for more than 10 minutes. The evenings are great too because it stays quite warm until around 9:00pm. Here's a pic from the end of a perfect day:

The rest of the week here looks pretty quiet as we don’t have any plans at all other than just relaxing around here and taking it easy.
