Paulette counted 10 heron nests in one single tree. Her favourite trees here in the park though are the Sycamores - there are dozens of them here.

The Sycamores are mostly pure white and, as yet, they don't have any leaves on them as I guess it's still really just the beginning of Spring.
We went into West Sedona this morning, so I could get the truck washed and filled with diesel fuel. While Molly and me took care of that, Paulette managed to sneak off to the Quilt Store just down the street. We also hit a few garage sales on the way back to the RV Park - Paulette finds the garage sales here in Sedona to be expensive compared to most other places.
I had to go back in to town this afternoon to pick up some supplies from Safeway and while on my way I saw a sign pointing to a scenic viewpoint we had missed. It was by the Sedona Airport, which is located high on a mesa overlooking the entire valley and a good portion of the City. The views from up there were just spectacular.
There seems to be no end of great scenery in the Sedona area.

We're off to the Grand Canyon tomorrow. We will be staying at the Circle Pines KOA in Williams, AZ, which is about an hour from the Canyon's South Rim. It is supposed to be a beautiful day and the temperatures are expected to be around 23C - so, that will be nice! Neither of us have seen the Grand Canyon so we are really looking forward to the experience.
