The Beachcomber RV Park isn't that big - it only has 60 sites, and it doesn't have all the amenities many larger RV resorts boast. For example, it doesn't have full-hookup sites available. Each site has electrical and water hook-ups but not sewer, although there is a sani-dump and they do provide free totes, on wheels, to empty your tanks. There is no cable-tv, but satellite works fine if you happen to have your own setup.

But, they do have this incredible location where the RV sites back up right to the sandy beaches with their own firepits, picnic tables and plenty of room. The Beachcomber park is very secluded as it is at the base of a large hill covered by evergreens and steep cliffs.

We have stayed at the Beachcomber RV Park a few times now and have always hated to leave.

If you feel like going for a long walk, there are miles of beaches to explore just around the point from the RV Park. In the morning, when the tide is out, its fun to walk out on the wet sand to see all of the sea-life in the dozens of tidal pools

Just looking at these pictures again has convinced us that we'll have to make plans to stay at this park for a week or so before we head off to Alberta in mid-July.
