Today’s blog title is about the most interesting thing I could think of to write because there was absolutely nothing special about Monday! The only thing I really did was to take our truck into the GM dealership in Cathedral City for a regular servicing – oil, lube and filter.
I spent most of the morning hanging around here waiting for my truckI left around 9am and got back to the park just after noon. Paulette had gone into Palm Springs with her friends Sandy and Robbie to do some shopping and to have lunch. The muttzo’s were pretty happy to see me home even though they’d only been alone for an hour.
I got so tied up with them when I got back that I completely forgot about the 1pm Computer Group meeting up at the clubhouse. Oh well, I’m sure all the problems got solved and the questions answered and, one things for sure, there’ll always be more next week!
Still practicing some sunset shotsMolly and Rylie are going to be staying with Toni, a dog sitter, here in the RV Park tomorrow. Toni looks after a lot of dogs when people want to get away for the day and either don’t want to, or can’t, bring their dogs with them. We see Toni at the dog park twice a day when we take Molly and Rylie because she is always there with whoever’s dogs she is looking after.
We’ve told Rylie and Molly to be on their best behaviour tomorrow!Molly and Rylie just love Toni so that’s great for us and Toni really likes the pups too. It’s funny, when we go to the park and let Rylie off her leash, the first thing she does is look for Toni and if she is sitting on a bench, Rylie will race across and jump right up on her lap. Luckily, Toni gets a big kick out of that!
Leaving the muttzo’s back at the park to spend time out in Toni’s backyard and taking 2 trips to the dog park will be much better than being cooped up in the back of the truck all day too. It will also free me up to visit a few places in San Diego that might not allow dogs. Otherwise, I would have probably ended up in a parking lot outside a Quilt Store just waiting for Paulette.
I’m really looking forward to driving over the Corona Bridge on TuesdayHopefully, I’ll have some interesting pictures of our trip to San Diego to post in tomorrow’s blog. We are going to leave the park around 8:30am and hope to be back here before 5pm – it’s about a 2 hour drive each way so that should leave us 4 hours or so to accomplish what we want to do.
Have a great Tuesday, and thanks again visiting!
