A Visit to Laughlin, NV

We started out this morning by going for breakfast to the restaurant located here at the KOA. It was already 20C at 8:30am so it was warm enough to sit outside which was nice. Breakfast was pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages or bacon - for $6 each! And, it was great!

After breakfast, we drove up to Laughlin, NV which is only 30 minutes away. Laughlin is a very mini-version of Las Vegas and is located right on the banks of the Colorado River.

Other than the casinos, however, there's not much else to see or do in Laughlin, so we just drove around town for a bit taking in some of the sights.

On the way back to Needles, we stopped at a new shopping mall in Mojave City so Paulette could have a quick visit.

By the time we got back to the KOA, it was pretty hot with a very warm wind blowing. We just stayed in the RV Park for the afternoon and began packing up and getting ready to head out early tomorrow morning for Banning, CA.
