Tlaquepaque (pronounced Tla-keh-pah-keh), Sedona Arizona's Arts & Crafts Village, is located just outside of our Rancho Sedona RV Park. It's less than a kilometre, so we went this afternoon to have a look at some of the shops.

Tlaquepaque is authentically fashioned after a traditional Mexican village, Tlaquepaque, meaning the "best of everything," has been a Sedona landmark since the 1970's. Originally conceived as an artist community, there are now over 40 specialty shops and exclusive art galleries as well as the usual assortment of restaurants, bars and tourist type stores.
Most of the stores and shops seemed to be pretty expensive, but, Paulette did find a bargain in a little bead store.
We spent about an hour walking around and looking at all the sights before heading back to the RV Park for dinner.
Tomorrow, we're planning on taking a drive up to the little town of Jerome, AZ. We're not sure what's there but we've heard it's worth a visit.
