We didn't get to bed until 2:30am on Sunday morning, but we were all up and around by 8:00am. I think there was still a little bit too much excitement left in us to allow us to sleep any longer. After having showers, breakfast and taking Molly and Rylie for a walk, Paulette and Mikayla drove over to the Crowsnest Community Hall to help clean up and collect all of Paulette and Erin's decorations and belongings.

Then, we went over to Erin and Rhett's for what was scheduled to be a Brunch of pancakes, sausages and bacon. But, by the time we all got there, it was close to noon and no one was particularly hungry as we'd all eaten a bit too much at the wedding reception. So, we settled for buns, cold meats and cheese all left over from the Midnight Snack the night before. I guess there were close to 25 people over and there was still a bit of food left after everyone was gone. We went back to the RV Park to try and catch a few hours rest as Paulette was pretty much exhausted from all the work she has been doing.

However, shortly after getting back to the RV park, the exodus from Blairmore began. First, Maggie and her boyfriend Toby stopped by to say goodbye as they were heading to Calgary for their late afternoon flight to Vancouver, B.C. Then, it was Hayley's turn as she was driving back to Calgary with a friend to prepare and pack for her flight back to Ottawa, Ontario on Tuesday morning.

Kevin and Carrie, along with my brother Tom and Donna, left at the crack of dawn yesterday morning for the 11 hour drive back to the west coast and the B.C. Ferry to Vancouver Island. We had already said our goodbyes the night before when they left the wedding reception to get a few hours sleep before having to hit the road.
Rylie found a bed of straw and slept soundly thru the entire wedding ceremony.

Eventually, things quieted down and Paulette, Mikayla and me managed to catch a couple of hours nap time in the afternoon. It was a hot, muggy day here in Blairmore with a bit of thunder and lightning in the distance but only a few sprinkles of rain fell all day.

Last night, Rhett and Erin came out to the Lost Lemon RV Park and we all went over to the site where his Aunt and Uncle are staying. We sat around the campfire until around 10:30pm, when everyone decided that we just couldn't keep our eyes open any longer. It had been a long couple of days. Erin and Rhett left for home and we walked back to our campsite and were in bed just after 11:00pm.
